Properties: White to off-white powder (granules), relative density 1.29; soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, carbon disulfide, slightly soluble in ethanol, ether, carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in water, gasoline, or dilute alkali. Decomposes when heated with water to form dimethylamine and carbon disulfide. Irritating to the respiratory tract and skin.
Applications: Used as an ultra-accelerator in the rubber industry, often combined with thiazole accelerators, or with other accelerators as a promoter for continuous rubber compounds. As it slowly decomposes to release free sulfur above 100°C, it can also function as a vulcanizing agent. Products exhibit excellent aging resistance and heat resistance. Suitable for natural and synthetic rubbers. Mainly used in the production of tires, inner tubes, rubber shoes, cables, and other industrial products. In agriculture, it is used as a fungicide and insecticide, and also as a lubricant additive.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Packaged products should be protected from direct sunlight. Shelf life: 2 years.
